Designing Conservation Projects for Transformational Change
Projects built for short-term outputs rarely hold.

Overview
This course teaches conservation professionals to design initiatives that reach root causes, bring in the right people and align ecological priorities with the realities of the communities on the ground.
What you practice
You work the full design process on a guided coastal-resilience scenario: define a clear problem statement, map stakeholders and rights holders and connect activities to social and ecological goals. Along the way you build fluency with theory of change, logical frameworks, stakeholder engagement planning and adaptive management, and you learn to design with communities rather than for them.
